Dimitri Payet has declared his intention to stay at West Ham despite strong links with Real Madrid, Barcelona and other top clubs around the world.
On his return to the UK, after the Euros, he told the Sun that he is beyond flattered about the interest from these top clubs but he reassured West Ham fans of his desire to play at the club next season.
“I’ve heard about all the interest and I’m flattered,” Payet told the Sun
“But I love West Ham. We had a fantastic season and I can’t wait to play in the Olympic Stadium.”
“I’m 100 per cent staying at West Ham, I love the club. I can tell the Hammers fans that.”
