Former Super Eagles captain, Jay Jay Okocha has dismissed the possibility of taking a shot at the vacant position for National team head coach.
In a chat with NAIJ, the retired football player and chairman of the Delta State Football Association said he’d rather stick to his administrative duties at least for now.
He said, “For now I think I’m enjoying my freedom, you can’t say never. I’m not thinking towards that direction.”
He then added, “I don’t think I have any qualification, I don’t want to be tempted to go into management.”
Application for the position of National team head coach closes today and a decision for the man to take charge of the Eagles is to be taken this Friday.
