Are you ready for The Chief? Jidenna is coming home this August

Yay… The Chief is coming home. After a spectacular performance at the One Africa Music Fest, American-Nigerian rapper, Jidenna has announced a homecoming tour across Africa.

This is to promote the world-wide release of his Long Live The Chief album.

Jidenna will tour the African continent for a series of exclusive performances, album release parties and the filming of a BBC documentary, which will chronicle his homecoming journey to Nigeria.

The Wondaland Records/Epic Records star will kickoff the tour in late August with a journey to Nigeria where he will hold an exclusive album launch event alongside a live performance at Hard Rock Café in Lagos after which he will head to his childhood home in Enugu, Nigeria.

He then departs for South Africa where he will also be having an exclusive album launch.

The music video for the Enugu indigene’s latest single, Chief Don’t Run premieres on August 18Jidenna relays, “Launching an album like this is massive, but I wouldn’t want to do it any other way. The road ahead is long, but like the song says: Chief Don’t Run.”
