Nigerian music rapper Erhiga Agariubie (Erigga) revealed that he has not been in his best space for the past five years on a radio show.

The Motivation singer claimed he had been in a “bad deal” for five years. Within this timeframe, he had been in connections with legal professionals as he tried to regain his freedom from the cold grasp of music corporate giants.

He buttressed his braveness and resilience as he was born and raised in Warri, hardening his skin against challenging waters and issues that might be too daunting for the average person.

“I was built for this; I grew up on the toughest time, so small challenges no fit make me come outside dey make me cry say wetin dey sup?” Erigga began.

“I was actually in a bad deal for like five years; yeah, the deal was very, very bad, and I no fit even come outside,”

Although the deal seemed enticing on the outside, providing him with cars, houses and many other luxurious materials.

“I explained all my challenges in my song Motivation. You no go hear me come outside cry say ‘this thing happened to me’, I put it all in my song. I sorted it out calmly; we went through the whole legal process, get lawyers, and it went beyond that as there were cases of people being traced back to their homes, but all of these were low-key,” he narrated.

Erigga affirmed that he didn’t want any of these situations to make the headlines on the internet, and he didn’t want the direction of the fans to change from how they currently view him.

“I just thank God because, you know, sometimes you need to fall to bounce, and I have solved these issues.”
