Contrary to the claim by Niger Delta Avengers that they have blown up an export crude pipeline owned by oil giants, ExxonMobil, the company has said none of their facilities were touched.
“At about 7:30pm the Niger Delta Avengers blow up Exxon Mobil Qua Iboe 48″ crude oil export pipeline. When will these International Oil companies (IOC) learn to listen? We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export,” said NDA’s spokesperson Mudoch Agbinibo in a message posted to the group’s website on Monday night.
The company’s Spokesperson, Todd Spitler has however confirmed that there was no such attack on their facilities in the country.
“There were no attacks on our facilities,” he said.
