Kaduna killings: Osinbajo orders deployment of more troops

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has ordered the deployment of more troops to Kaduna state to solve the security challenges in the region.

This comes after reports of communal clashes, resulting in the loss of lives in Kajuru, Kajuru Local Government Area of the State.

Osinbajo commiserated with families of the victims, the government and people of Kaduna State.

He wished the injured victims speedy recovery.

According to a statement by Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media & Publicity, Osinbajo condemned the violence in the state.

He noted that the security challenges in Southern Kaduna is a source of concern to government and well-meaning Nigerians.

He added that the perpetrators of the act will be brought to account.

“We will not relent and won’t be deterred in our pursuit of securing the lives and property of all Nigerians, everywhere and in every part of this nation.

“In the end, we will not only secure the peace all around, but we shall enforce justice for the victims and all of those that are affected,” he declared.
