Kogi governor stranded at Kano airport

The Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello, was on Wednesday stranded in Kano over the expiration of his travel visa.

According to SaharaReporters, the Governor, who was on his way for a lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia, had already boarded the plane when it was discovered that his visa had expired.

Bello was said to have sat on a reserved chair while his assistants had gone to process his travel documents, only to discover that the paper had expired.

Following the unfortunate discovery, the Governor had to disembark from the plane.

He, thereafter, drove to the Kano state government house where he spent the night.
