In August 2004 a naked, sunburned, nearly blind man was found lying on the ground behind a Burger King restaurant in Georgia, USA.

Paramedics reported that he had depressions on his head that may have indicated blows from a blunt object.

When discovered, he had no memory of who he was. Dubbed BK because of where he was found, he has since chosen to live under the name Benjaman Kyle.

Kyle remains the only citizen of the USA officially listed as missing despite his whereabouts being known.

Without being able to determine his identity he has been unable to obtain a social security number, and therefore unable to open a bank account or have a credit card.

Earlier this year artist Miguel Endara caught a screening of a short film called Finding Benjaman at the Tribeca Film Festival and decided to try and raise awareness of Kyle’s plight.

The artist began an epic hyper-realistic drawing employing a technique known as stippling that requires a huge amount of dots.

Taking 138 hours to complete at a rate of 4.25 dots per second, the artist estimated that the piece contains approximately 2.1 million dots.
