This is the season of apologies and regrets as many young and influential Nigerians have come out to publicly denounced President Buhari’s administration and apologize for supporting Buhari.
Despite this, one person remains unapologetic for voting President Buhari. Temie Giwa, the CEO and founder of Life Bank, in the following tweets explains why she has no regret voting for Buhari and the dangers of saying that former Goodluck Jonathan was better choice.
Under GEJ, Nigeria lost a chunk of its territory to Boko Haram! We had terrorist attacks once a week! And now we are doing #ReBuild Borno!

Lagos people might not acre about Borno and the horror Boko Haram brought on those poor Nigerians, @MBuhari stopped that!

We have a recession that is 10 years in the making! And suddenly GEJ who ceded territory to a terrorist group is now a better choice?!

Have you guys forgotten Kano, Abuja? Bomb blast after bomb blast? They stole 200 girls @ they were never found again! Do we forget so fast?

How can you caretake a country you were slowly losing? Man, we almost lost Borno! That alone, makes Buhari a worthy president! ☹️☹️☹️

Nigeria, forever lurching from one extreme to the other! Then it was Buhari = messiah! And now, it's Buhari = rotten demon! ???

Buhari is a relatively honest military man! I voted for him cos he was going to stop Boko Haram & reduce corruption! He's been good on both.

This overreaction is most likely to give us someone even worse than GEJ and GMB combined in 2019!
— Temie Giwa-Tubosun (@temite) August 10, 2016
We can say that the economy needs better hands and force concession there but we must not argue that GEJ was even remotely good!
— Temie Giwa-Tubosun (@temite) August 10, 2016
But she does have one regret though:
I should really stop defending Buhari on here sha! He needs to find people who will communicate his wins to the Nigerian people!
