The Media Blog: We’ve been watching these 3 Nigerian vlogs

Everyone’s favorite (former) child star Benita Okojie, and her sister Bella Rose Okojie (herself a star in her own right, steady on the path of making a name for herself as a radio presenter and actor) come together in this heartwarming blog series where they discuss life in Nigeria, through the eyes of two young Christian girls.

We particularly love this episode about dating while Christian.

Tomi Odunsi and Chef Daniel Olurin come together in this new series where they discuss… Marital Duties. Yeah, it’s fairly parochial. And it’s a bit clumsy overall, but it’s a genuine account of a newly-wed adjusting to a new reality.

And finally, here’s Berry Dakara, who became fairly popular for her Aje-Butter’s Guide To NYSC. Her blog sees her talk about all kinds of lifestyle issues, from make-up to heartbreak, but we particularly love this one on kindness. It might seem trite, but we think it’s an important message.

P.S. Any other vlogs you think we should be checking out? Or any general issues/events/occurrences worth talking about on the ins and outs of the media business in Nigeria? Whether it’s TV, radio, print and online (could be news, tweets, photos, op-eds etc,) send us a mail on [email protected] titled TMB. Let’s share the insight together!
