On the 14th of April 2014, the terrorist group, Boko Haram, that had been the North-East region of Nigeria, abducted over 275 schoolgirls from the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno state. The abductions provoked a worldwide outcry that resulted in the Bring Back Our Girls movement.
That night, at least 50 girls were able to jump out of the truck conveying the girls and flee for their lives. Mercy and Patience were among those.
Journalist, Jackson Ude, shared the information on his Twitter page yesterday. This is what the girls have been up to:

Apparently, the Journalist was once a doubting Thomas. But his doubts finally dissolved after he saw with his two eyes:

Yesterday, the Nigerian government negotiated the release of 82 more Chibok girls in exchange for some Boko Haram prisoners. Nigerians responded to this news with euphoria.
This Chibok 82 story fills me with so much joy I can't even express it right now. God bless everyone who's helped to make this happen. pic.twitter.com/CzWZCpwN1J
