Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has been reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. According to RadarOnline, her grandchildren, Paris, Prince, and Blanket are worried about her after they were unable to get through to her all week.

Lt. Josh Thai confirmed this incident saying, “I can confirm that a missing person’s report was filed this evening by Mrs. Katherine Jackson’s nephew, Trent Jackson, after he was unable to see her or reach her for a week. The report will be referred to the Homicide/Missing Persons Unit, and they will be handling the investigation”.

Katherine’s attorney, Sandra Ribera, told Cable News Network (CNN) that the late King of pop’s mother left her Calabasas, California, home on the 15^th of July to fly to Albuquerque, New Mexico for a Jackson Brothers concert scheduled for the 17th.

In their grandmother’s absence, Katherine’s grandchildren are taken care of by the nanny. Paris who lost her father three years ago couldn’t bear not being assured of the whereabouts or safety of her grandmother.

Katherine, according to sources has never gone 24 hours without communicating with the children, hence their worry.

Jermaine Jackson, one of Katherine’s children has however assured the public on twitter that their mother is home and safe in Arizona.

He tweeted: “I want to reassure everyone that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us”.

“This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything. We are following doctor’s advice. Period,” he added.

Paris replied on twitter saying: “The same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother … just saying.”

Dr. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the June 2009 propofol overdose death of Jackson at age 50.

Jermaine however did not say if the doctor’s orders also advised against Katherine speaking with her grandchildren.
