  1. Babatunde Fashola

He is a two term former governor of Lagos state, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has had several accumulated years of experience in Law.

He was once the Honorable Commissioner to the governor and Chief of Staff, Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his time as governor of Lagos at the same time.

 

2. Rotimi Amaechi

Amaechi

He is a two term former governor Rivers State. He was among the first set of governors who left Peoples Democratic Party to form another arm of PDP before eventually moving to the All Progressive Congress. He was the Director-general of the APC Presidential Campaign.

 

3. Kayode Fayemi 

 

Fayemi

A Former Ekiti State Governor, who was once Director of Centre for Democracy & Development. Fayemi is a security expert, who has a Doctorate degree in War Studies from the University of London, England.

He is also a vast writer with quite a number of publication bordering on  governance and democratisation, civil-military relations and security sector issues in Africa.

 

4. Chris Ngige

Ngige is a former Governor of Anambra State. He is a founding member of PDP who later defected to APC.

He burst into national prominence following the Okija shrine scandal.

He is a medical doctor cum politician who is fondly remembered by many in his state for his performance as governor.

 

5. Udoma Udo Udoma

Udoma

Udoma is a two term Senator from Akwa-Ibom South constituency under PDP. He is the 5th Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission. His appointment was ratified by the President Yar’Adua in June 2008. Senator Udo Udoma was appointed Chairman of the Union Bank Board in 2013. He’s the senior Partner of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, a firm of Legal Practitioners which he founded in 1983.

 

6. Ogbonnaya Onu

Onu is the first Executive Governor of Abia State and one of the founding fathers of the All Nigeria Peoples Party. He was one of the few founders who remained with the party from February 1992 till 2013. During that time, he served as the National Chairman of the ANPP until it merged with the All Progressives Congress.

Abubakar Malami, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, was born in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State
and has served in various capacities including being a state counsel and magistrate in Kebbi State and teaching law at the Usman Dan Fodio University before going into  private legal practice. He was formerly the National Legal Adviser for Congress for Progressive Change.

 

 

8. Aisha Alhassan

She is the former governorship candidate of the APC in Taraba state. She was once Taraba State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General before her election into the senate in 2011. She was also appointed the Chief Registrar of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on 17 December 2003. After she retired from service she went into business.

 

 

9. Amina Mohammed

Mohammed is the special adviser on Post-2015 Development Planning to the Secretary-General of the United nations, Ban Ki-Moon. Before then, she worked as senior adviser to the President of Nigeria on Millennium Development Goals for six years. Mohammed has been working in the field of development for more than 30 years both in the public sector and the private sector. Prior to her current appointment, she was the CEO and founder of the think tank Center for Development Policy Solutions.

 

 

10. Kemi Adeosun

She is a former Commissioner of Finance in Ogun state. Adeosun is an economist, with over 23 years experience gained in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. She is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales, as well as Nigeria

11. Ibe Kachikwu:

He is the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Kachikwu is an author of three legal books as well as the publisher of the popular Hints and Chanelle magazines. Respected writers like Toni Kan, Reuben Abati, Kayode Ajala, etc cut their teeth writing for his papers.

He last worked for Exxon Mobil as Vice Chairman and General Counsel. But before that, he was with the Nigerian/American Merchant Bank and Texaco.

 

12. Hadi Sirika

Sirika is an ex-pilot, who is a former Senator, representing Katsina North Senatorial District under the platform of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC). He is the Vice-Chairman of the Millennium Development Goals (MGDs) Committee set by the Nigerian Senate.

 

13. Adebayo Shittu:
He is a former governorship candidate of the Legacy party in Oyo state At 26, he was the youngest  member of the Oyo State House of Assembly between 1979 and 1983. He was commissioner for home affairs, tourism and culture under the short-lived Omololu Olunloyo administration in 1983. He was appointed Attorney- General and Commissioner for Justice towards the end of Rashidi Ladoja’s regime.

He is a retired Nigerian Army Lieutenant General, former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) between 2008 and 2010. Dambazau is one of the few confidantes of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He is a surgeon by profession and was a member of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria. He was also the Edo State Coordinator of Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation during the 2015 elections.

Ahmed Musa Ibeto
He was former Niger State Deputy Governor, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after he lost his bid to become PDP governorship candidate in the state. He would eventually go on to win the governorship election.
19. Ibrahim Jibril
He was a former Director in the Federal Civil Service and was appointed in 2010 by former president, Goodluck Jonathan as Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
20. Audu Ogbeh
Audu Ogeh
Ogbeh is the former chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He was the deputy speaker of the Benue state House of the Assembly under the platform of National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in 1979. In 1982 he was appointed Federal Minister of Communications, and later became Minister of Steel Development. He resigned from PDP in 2005.
