Nigerian actress, Lota Chukwu, who plays “Kiki” in Jenifa’s Diary, is a relatively new face in the Nigerian film industry. Yet, when you the yoga enthusiast and model, you will know she is ready to take on Nollywood.
When asked what her greatest tragedy is, she said: “My greatest tragedy right now is that I did not start soon enough. But, you know, better late than never.”
On what her core values are as a Nigerian and an actor, she says: “…It’s people doing the right thing. It’s that simple. Do the right thing…in your job, at work. Just do the right thing“.
Speaking about sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement, the 28-year-old says “everybody deserves a voice. Nobody should be sexually harassed, whether male or female.”
