Nigerian starlet, Alex Iwobi shines as Arsenal hammer Watford

Following the drama that ensued between Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil and his manager Arsene Wenger after the former blamed his team for their poor performance, the trip to Vicarage road was expected to be a nervy one.

However the Gunners appeared cool, calm and collected as they dismantled the Hornets 4-0 at the Emirates on Satuturday.

An emerging chemistry between Alexis Sanchez and Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi produced two un-replied goals as the Gunners went in ahead at halftime.

Arsenal killed off the game in the second half as a deflected Hector Bellerin strike and a tap in from substitute Theo Walcott secured victory for the 3rd placed side.

Elsewhere Manchester City hit four past Bournemouth courtesy goals from Fernando, Aguero, De Bryune and Kolarov.
