Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai had said terrorist group, Boko Haram gets help from some Nigerians and also other bodies like ISIS.

Buhari said this on Monday while speaking with journalists after declaring open a seminar titled ‘Assessing the threats of Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria’.

He said, “It is incumbent on  all of us to really reflect, to understand that we are really in a situation where need to ensure that the fight against insurgency receives total support from everybody.

“This a loss too many that we just have to find a collective effort by all nigerians and indeed globally to ensure that terrorism is seriously fought to the end. It is a situation where we really need to work together, to synergise together.

“The insurgency is a situation where you discover that they have melted into the society. And we have some some elements who are within the society that are still supporting them clandestinely.”
