A British father allegedly beat a suspected paedophile to death after catching the man filming his young daughter on his iPad.
The ex-pat, named locally as estate agent Devinder Kainth, 40, was enjoying a family meal in the millionaire’s playground of Sotogrande in Spain when he noticed the German man filming the girl.
The father repeatedly asked the man, named as Sandro Rottman, 43, to stop, but he continued so Mr Kainth, said to be a boxer, grabbed the iPad.
When Mr Kainth discovered pictures of his daughter on the tablet, he threw it on the floor and allegedly punched Rottman in the head before leaving the restaurant.
Rottman, a graphic designer who had been arrested a few days previously for possessing child pornography, was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
Police confirmed that the blow had caused Rottman’s death but one witness said Mr Kainth, known locally as Victor, also kicked the German.
