The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereignty State of Biafra (MASSOB) has declared that only God can crush the agitation for a Republic of Biafra.
The group, on Thursday, in a statement made available to journalists in Awka by MASSOB leader, Uchenna Madu, condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s comment that Nigeria’s unity was not negotiable.
The group also said Buhari could not stop Nigerians from deciding how they would want to live in the country.
He said, “This is enthusiastic expression of an old man who still believes in his old way without realising that new trends are taking place.”
“Buhari believes that with his kinsmen occupying all the positions in the military, he will easily crush Biafra and other opinion on restructuring of this country.”
“Maybe he thinks that with his intimidation of Igbo governors, National Assembly members, religious/ opinion/ political leaders, he can crush Biafra.”
Madu further said that it was obvious the president was ‘jittery’ because of his constant negative comments about Biafra.
“As every revolutionary struggle has its own methodology, the current Biafra struggle for self-determination and restoration will continue to pose confusing methods to President Buhari.”
“No man born of a woman can crush Biafra because God, history and humanities are on our side.”
Ofcourse yes, because biafara never existed.
