And Rihanna certainly looked as if she was in the holiday spirit as she posed for a series of sun-soaked Instagram snaps.
In one shot the 25-year-old singer poses in a swimming pool wearing a pink and orange bikini with palm trees in the background.

She drenches her hair in the pool and flips back her long locks, captioning the image with ‘Rasta’.
She also poses half submerged in the pool in an underwater shot, while she also reclines on a yellow floating pool lounger.
She poses for a close-up while relaxing in the pool wearing a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and also sits by the edge of the pool for silhouette snap.

The singer recently added to her extensive tattoo collection while on tour, by enhancing the tribal hand tattoo she got in New Zealand.
She called up her favourite American tattoo artists and had them flown 1,500 miles from New York to the Dominican Republic, Page Six reports.
The star risked offending tribal chiefs after it was reported that the designs had been made to look ‘pretty’.

‘We designed something that plays over the knuckles and wrist, and just tried to incorporate it with what was done before,’ Keith McCurdy told Page Six.
‘We blended what used to be there into a more decorative pattern. We tried to make it look like jewellery, a bit like a henna tattoo.’
Keith also commented on an Instagram snap of the new design, saying: ‘So proud we made it pretty??’
Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour is her fifth concert tour and supports her seventh studio album Unapologetic.
The tour began in Match in Buffalo, New York and finishes in November in New Orleans.
