If you are a red-blooded Nigerian, you are no doubt familiar with the love we have for Grass to Grace stories. Mercy raised the issue of Tacha’s friendship with her in and out boyfriend- Ike. She said she found their relationship disrespectful, reaffirming that Tacha and Mercy may not have completely settled their differences. Ike in explaining himself blamed what she feels, on the constant online battle between fans of Tacha and Mercy. He stated that the statement of her fans makes her internalise a false narrative and feel disrespected.

Ike :" She can't even name a time I was being disrespectful. That should be the answer right there. Me and Tacha do not even discuss housemates. Anything can be misread, misinterpreted"

But when Ebuka asked Tacha to speak on the issue, she said she had no comment, and no matter how Ebuka tried to coerce a response from her, she stood her ground refusing to justify “Mercy’s paranoia.”

Fans of the ex-housemate have interpreted her response as a sign of maturity. The fact that she desists from starting a drama over something that doesn’t seem worth it is an action that has earned a lot of applause online. As is typical of Tacha fans, anything they do, they do loudly.
