Nokia unveils ‘world most innovative smartphones’; Lumia 920 and 820

On Tuesday, November 20, Nokia, in partnership with Microsoft and MTN, unveiled in Nigeria its highly anticipated Windows Phone 8 devices, the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820.

Nokia is offering customers the opportunity to pre-order the phones from any MTN store for pick up in December. The best part is customers who pre-order the phones would also get 6 months free internet from MTN and the new Nokia Wireless Charger Plate. Yay!!!

The new Lumia 920 comes with cool new features which would give customers the best Windows smartphone experience ever with its colorful Fabular (Unibody) design, Nokia’s new PureMotion HD Plus display with a 1280 x 768 resolution; the Nokia Maps which covers 90% of Nigeria map; Nokia City Lens – a unique augmented reality App that helps users locate near by places; the advanced Pureview camera technology and a host of other exciting features.

The Pureview camera is way too awesome, its comes with a floating lens technology that takes in five times more light than any other smartphone, enabling users to capture sharp, crisp pictures even indoors and at night, without using flash. This is complemented by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a first of its kind feature which prevents pictures and videos from blurring when users are on the move.
