NSA warns of possible Boko Haram attack in Lagos

A security alert has been issued from the office of the National Security Adviser, on the possibility of Boko Haram attack on Lagos seaports.

The alert became necessary after the United States Embassy, raised some concerns about the security situation at the nation’s seaports.

Assistant Comptroller General of Customs in charge of Enforcement and Intelligence, Dan Ugo, signed the security alert on behalf of the Comptroller General, Col. Hameed Ali (retd).

Consequently, there is expected to be a rapid increase in the level of security checks at all access points into the ports.

The Nigeria Customs Service, has also commenced the restriction of unauthorized persons into its commands and formations in Lagos.
