It is highly unlikely that anything would be done… but the Department of State Security says it is taking appropriate action on the threat of the Oba of Lagos against the Igbo ethnic group in the state.
While answering questions from journalists at the National Information Centre in Abuja on Wednesday, DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar said something is being done about the speech against the Igbos by the Oba Rilwan Akiolu.
Ogar said, “We are taking appropriate action. Yesterday, the service had once again, warned all Nigerians not to fan the embers of discord within the country.
“If the presidential election had come and gone successfully, we wouldn’t want people to begin to wipe up sentiments unnecessarily. So we are handling it.”
