The governorship election of Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
The appeal filed by the PDP candidate, Emeka Ihedioha, challenging the election of Okorocha during the April 14th election, was thrown out on Thursday morning.
The seven-man panel of the Supreme Court presided, led by John Fabiyi, ruled that Ihedioha’s appeal lacked merit.
