#OnRubbinMinds this Sunday: No pressure – this show might save your life

by Stanley Azuakola

After last week’s revealing Rubbin’ Minds show, ‘Let’s get Married’, all is set for another great one by 3pm this Sunday.

‘Twenty-five and Pressurised’; that’s the theme for this week’s show. When young people hear about high blood pressure, most (wrongly) assume that it’s a condition for the old. But everyday, we see more and more young people becoming afflicted with the condition. And while we’re at it, we would discuss its sister ailment: low blood pressure. I bet some people didn’t even know that such a name even existed. Well, it does. And because these ailments affect young people, Rubbin’ Minds is interested in dedicating an entire show to ‘treating’ them (no pun intended.)

When you tune in to the show, you’ll know how to watch against low and high blood pressure? Who can be affected? And if you already have any of the conditions, you’ll know what you can do.

As usual, we have a line-up of guests with the competence to make this issue plain through incisive exposition and analysis. Our guests include a nutritionist, Mrs. Sherese Ijewere, a health and fitness Manager, Brand Maje Ayida and Dr. Gbonjubola Babalola.

Shade Ladipo and Chude Jideonwo will be hosting the show this Sunday. As always, Rubbin’ Minds comes up by 3pm on Sunday. It will be broadcast live on Channels TV on terrestrial television and DSTV Channel 134 on cable. You can follow the show on Twitter by following @YNaija because we’ll be there to live tweets throughout the duration of the show, telling you all that’s going down in the studio. You can also use the #RubbinMinds hashtag to keep tabs of happenings.
