Some of these girls are being killed, they helplessly allow these evil-hearted men to have their ways with them.

My heart cries out in rhetorical pain and sheer disdain as I ponder and reflect on the pang of countless terror being unleashed on the then ‘peaceful-Nigerian’ society. People lose close relatives: brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, fathers and mothers alike to the spate of terrorism of the apex extent in this day Nigerian society in the Northern region on Nigeria.

We lost peace at the very sound of the first bomb blast which the sect [Boko Haram] claimed firm responsibility to the dastardly act, since then we have lost that serenity we enjoyed without boundaries. We have in recent time woken up to pages of terrifying and gory news of bomb blasts and several other vile of terrorism inflicted disasters that has claimed thousands of lives and properties in the light of bigotry by the members of the Boko Haram sect. They claim to be fighting for a religious anathema which in my opinion could lead to national altercation and that could alter our democratic progression.

Reports surfaced about more than 200 missing girls kidnapped in the North-east by the Boko Haram terrorist network which happened in the town of Chibok in north-eastern Borno State 17 days ago. These innocent young girls do not belong in the Hell- Holes they have been taken to. Also these girls and young women kidnapped from a school in Nigeria are being rumoured to be forced to marry their Islamic extremist abductors, a civic organisation reported Wednesday generating from AP: The students are said to being paid 2,000 naira ($12) to marry the fighters also in certain sections of reports emanating from media.

Deep within my sane mind, I know they were captured, not just to shield the insurgents from immediate reprisals by the military, but is obvious there’s more evil attachment to that than it seem. These innocent girls are being sexually assaulted and violated helplessly in the coven of these evil minded demons!

Some of these girls are being killed, they helplessly allow these evil-hearted men to have their ways with them. Imagine the diabolic intents with which these devilish-agents would force themselves into these girls, some of whom would still be virgins experiencing such unpleasant pains, with heartless and mean figured musketeers they never desired, in an environment polluted with all sorts of sight terrifying ammunition, deceased bodies, filth, militant activities, sorrows, tears and blood.

Imagine these innocent girls [virgins], being infected with diseases [STIs / STDs] out of no fault of theirs, but the ill luck of being Nigerians, allowing them to roam helplessly in terror inflicted niches dirty, barefooted in mud-stricken ground without clean clothes to change to, without food, clean water, no sanitary materials in their disposals for their timely use, no skin care materials to nourish their skins to mention the least of their needs, exposing them to mid-night atmospheric hazards and illnesses. Certain reports a few days back said, the Wednesday night message from the abductors also claimed that two of the girls have died from snake bites..

In related developments there also has been no news of 25 girls kidnapped from Konduga town in Borno state earlier this month.

Our leaders are acting very unperturbed about the whole situation, deceiving themselves that the Nigerian Military is on top of the situation expressing ineptitude security intelligence in finding our girls! We are losing faiths and believe in the leadership competence of our leaders in all governmental strata, they are doing less or nothing about these issues.

My questions are:

– What have we done as a country to deserve these evil acts?;

– Haven’t we gone through enough together for us to love one another as much as we love our selves irrespective of our plights politically, in religious perspects, ethnically and otherwise?

On this concluding juncture, I indulge us as a Nation in one accord to go into prayers of all denominational faith, let’s echo our prayers in unity and love #BringBackOurGirls
