Oronto Douglas to be buried in Bayelsa on May 2

The former Senior Special Adviser to the President, Oronto Natei Douglas, who recently passed away, will have a 6-day long burial ceremony.

The burial starts with an Evening of Tributes by the Creatives Industry at Eko Hotel & Suites, VI, Lagos on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 and ends on Sunday, May 3, 2015, with a Thanksgiving/Outing Service at St Mark’s Anglican Church, Okoroba, Nembe L.G.A, Bayelsa State.

The burial will hold on Saturday, May 2 at the St Mark’s Anglican Church Premises, Okoroba, Nembe LGA of Bayelsa State at 2.30pm.

The next day, Sunday, May 3, a Valedictory Session will be held by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) at the Chief Judges’ Court, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State by 9.00 am.

The Funeral Service follows at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa at 10.30am.
