Former Nigerian international Osaze Odemwingie has joined English Football League side Rotherham United on a deal until January.

However, the deal is subject to FA and EFL ratification.

Odemwingie, who was a free agent, becomes new boss Kenny Jackett’s first signing after he penned a deal Monday evening at AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The striker has had playing spells in the Premier League for the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City.

His career has also seen him take in spells with Lille and Lokomotive Moscow.
