Josephine Orji added another gold medal to Nigeria’s medal haul to eighth at the ongoing Rio 2016 Paralympics.
In a impressive performance Orji broke the World Record to win the Women’s +86kg Powerlifting event.
In a total display of dominance, Orji set a WR mark of 156kg. Her closest challengers Poland’s Marzena Zieba had a mark of 134kg to claim silver, while Netherlands’ Melaica Tuinfort won bronze lifting her best mark of 130kg.
