Ekweremadu’s assassination plot: APC says PDP is hallucinating

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed allegations by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the ruling party is responsible for the assassination attempt on the life of the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.

The APC, on Thursday, described the allegation by the opposition party, as hallucinatory propaganda.

Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank, released a statement to this effect, accusing the PDP of cheap blackmail.

Frank said it’s saddening that the PDP was yet to stop its manipulative strategies that led to its heavy defeat in the 2015 elections.

He stated that the PDP‎’s attempt at propaganda has failed because Nigerians now know better.

“The past 16 years of PDP’s rule saw a honorable minister, Chief Bola Ige, politicians like Harry Marshall and Funso Williams assassinated with no attempt to unravel the mysteries that surrounded their deaths.

“It would therefore, be unfortunate for the PDP to elevate this act it had perfected over the years, to a propaganda tool.

“Nigerians all over the world know that President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC are more concerned with cleaning the mess the PDP-led government bequeathed to the nation more than anything else.”
