Emeka hosts this edition of The Slab with Isime and he’s joined by the usual suspect, Chukwukere and the delectable duo, Toni and Tolu.
They discuss the outcome of the US elections and conclude that they do not mind a Trump presidency for America and Chukwukere thinks its a good opportunity for the Donald to prove naysayers wrong. What interests the quartet most is the hilarity of Nigerians’ reaction to the Trump win. From Jimoh Ibrahim who “looks forward to working with Trump to move Ondo state forward” to CAN who are now telling us “God has a hand in the win”. Hello?
Tolu sends a warning to the MTV EMAs organisers to return Wizkid’s Best African Act award to him asap. Or better still, give a better excuse for stripping him of the award. Chukwukere, though, doesn’t get why everyone else is “overhyping” Wizkid, he claims “My mother doesn’t know Wizkid”. Beef everywhere!
It’s here. Listen:
