It is an open secret that the Governor of the Central Bank, Sanusi Lamido, would give anything to be Emir of his beloved Kano someday. Only last week, he was made the Dan Majen Kano, a title reserved for princes.
See picture of the coronation:

Staff of the Central Bank were however shocked on Wednesday June 13, when Sanusi showed up to work dressed in flowing traditional chieftaincy regalia. It was a sight to behold.
The big question is: Was the Sanusi Traditional Show a one-off event or should Nigerians expect to frequently see the Governor in traditional uniform henceforth? Oh, the drama!
