The All Progressives Congress leader, Kingsley Emenike, who was attacked by unknown persons on Sunday, January 11, has been arrested by the Police.
Emenike, who is a party leader in Ward 17, Rumuorlumeni, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, was arrested on his hospital bed.
He was aprehended alongside a certain Chukwe Ogbonda, also a member of the APC.
The pair were arrested while receiving intravenous fluids at Ebony Hospital in Rumuola, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area and were subsequently taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
