President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly appointed Colonel Hamidu Ali as his Chief of Staff.

Ali is a former military administrator of Kaduna State.

It was widely believed that the immediate past governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, may be selected for the position.
