Some youths in Kogi have blocked the road to the hometown of Senator Dino Melaye, while awaiting his convoy.

Melaye had arrived Lokoja, the state capital early Monday for a meeting with his supporters in order to prevent his recall.

The youths are planning to deny Melaye access to Ayetoro-Gbede, his hometown.

The youths in the video can be seen chanting songs against the Senator.

Some voters in his senatorial district had on Saturday had called for his recall from the senate.
