US President Donald Trump has, in continuation of the reactions on Russian meddling in the election, said that Russian President, Vladimir Putin, denied the allegations.
In a tweet coming after he met Putin for the first time, at the G20 Summit, Trump said he asked him twice and it was denied.

He wrote, “I strongly pressed President Putin twice about Russian meddling in our election. He vehemently denied it.”
He also stated that the US and Russia will work together in ensure a ceasefire in Syria and save more lives.

To avert a recurrence, Trump said he ws planning forming a formidable cyber security unit, so, “election hacking and many other negative things will be guarded.”
