Following the report, reactions as seen in a global trend on Twitter have been largely centered on her very popular role in the Glee TV series, and her former relationship with ex-husband, rapper Big Sean. While many are praying that she is found and in good health, a few others are already saying a word of prayer for her and her family.
Here’s what we gathered from reports…
The Glee actress is said to have arrived at the lake and rented a boat, taking her son out aboard. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department disclosed that they began searching for her at the reservoir at about 1 pm on Wednesday after her and her son, Josey Dorsey, failed to return a rental boat to the facilities; three hours after the duration for the rental expired.
The sesrch was later halted because of poor weather conditions resumed at a later time following social media backlash against the Ventura Police Department and rescue party.

Naya’s son who is now with his father, Naya’s estranged husband, Ryan Dorsey, however, shared that his mother jumped in the lake and never came back up.
Here’s how people are reacting to this story…
There were a few users who expressed how much her role in the Glee series helped them through their high school days, these ones, just like a huge number of people are praying that Naya is found and returned to her family.
Fuck 2020. Naya Rivera is such a talented woman. I remember watching her on Glee like just yesterday. And she played "Santana Lopez" so good. Please don't cut her life short. 💔🙏 #PrayingForNaya pic.twitter.com/6atnrlIY07

Others however ceased the opportunity to make jokes about her character from the TV show as they shared memes and GIFs that appeared insensitive to the situation of things. They were slammed by other users who reminded them about the seriousness of the issue.
I’m sorry but Naya Rivera was more than her Glee character. She was a daughter, a friend, a sister and a mother. For you guys to not even call her by her real name in a time like this is so distasteful. Cut the memes and start spreading awareness. She’s a missing person.

Some Twitter users also tried to bring Naya’s ex-husband, Big Sean, into the picture as they reminded the audience about her time with him and how he dedicated a song about their relationship going sour. They were also slammed for their opinions.
That nigga Big Sean gotta retire the “I Don’t Fuck With You” song out of respect now that Naya Rivera died because ain’t no way bruh will perform that again

A dreamer, thinker, and writer who is still exploring the nuances of life and being human. When I’m not writing, I’m out with friends or spending nice time alone watching movies or TV Shows.
