Pepsi brand ambassador, Lynxxx, toured Northern Nigeria last month for the highly-anticipated ‘Lynxxx & Friends’ campus tour presented by Pepsi, produced by Eclipse Productions and documented by 37th State. Lynxxx hit the road making stops in Makurdi, Keffi and Gwagwalada with Tiwa Savage, DJ Zeez, Ice Prince, Vector, Eva, BlackMagic, Play Records All Stars’s Mimi & Rilwan, Show Dem Camp (SDC), Sammy and A1 Sugarboy. The tour was hosted by On-air Radio Personality, Oreka Godis and IllRymz, with DJ Nenim on the wheels of steel, steering the music with Syndik8’s in-house producer, Ikon.

With the success of his debut album, Lynxxx embarked on a university-wide tour in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Benue and Nassarawa catering to the ever-supportive college fans. The Lynxxx and Friends Campus Tour, powered by Pepsi, is a cross-country promotional tour with a focus on creating an opportunity for upcoming artistes in the Nigerian entertainment industry to showcase their talent. The programme caters to the influential 21st Century youth (Generation Y & Millennials) by feeding into their five senses and giving them a concert experience that is second to none. This production offers them a standard of entertainment that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford at the university level. The lights, the sound, the show and the performances are far beyond…

Taking over Nigerian campuses and reaching out to this important demographic one region at a time, the tour began in the Western region covering- University of Ilorin, Lead City University (Ibadan) and University of Lagos, with an estimated attendance in each university of 3000 students.  From the North, the tour moves on to the Eastern region and finally to the South-South region later in the academic year.

As a new artist, Lynxxx has had the opportunity to work with a long-list of music industry luminaries across West Africa including R2Bees, Efya, Naeto C, Banky W and Wizkid, fusing Hip Hop and soulful R&B to produce what he terms ‘Jollof Music.’ As part of the ‘This is Lynxxx’ promotional tour, Lynxxx has visited Accra, Ghana, Ilorin, Ibadan, Lagos and Benin.
