Following his departure from Old Trafford, Ryan Giggs is set to come out of retirement to play in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier Futsal League.
Giggs will join the likes of former Manchester United teammate Paul Scholes, Brazilian Ronaldinho, Argentine Hernan Crespo and Michel Salgado who have also been confirmed as participants in the tournament.
The Welshman ended his 29-year-old relationship with Manchester United as player and coach few weeks back, after the club’s new coach Jose Mourinho reportedly offered him a demoting role from his assistant manager position he held while Louis Van Gaal was at the club.
