A female undergraduate of the University of Abuja has been killed after she was hit by a car in front of the permanent site of the institution.

The deceased, identified simply as Afoke, reportedly died on the spot after being knocked down by an irate driver.

Eyewitnesses on the scene, say the automobile which hit her, was on high speed.

They also blamed a lack of speed bumps in front of the campus as a factor which gives room for over-speeding.

Afoke’s final year project defence was due to hold a day after she tragically died.
