Sarah, all okay? Palin spotted looking painfully thin (and washed up) – See Photos

The Sarah Palin we all knew

Sarah Palin wants you to get fit — the Wasilla way.

Palin, former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate, is penning an exercise book, reports People magazine.

Palin, 48, said that she wants to share her family’s way of combining delicious food with hard physical activity.

“Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort food,” she said in an email to People.

A more voluptuous Sarah Palin, then the Republican vice presidential nominee, takes the stage for the vice presidential debate in 2008 at Washington University in St. Louis.

The governor-turned-GOP pundit was spotted looking less than healthy in Los Angeles on Monday.

Palin was looking more bony than buxom when photographers spotted her shopping with her daughter Willow, 18.

Her other daughter, Bristol, is still competing on “Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars. ”

Palin now

Palin and her family of five are big fans of vigorous outdoor activity, including boating, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting.

Her love of running inspired her to name her son “Track,” she told the Wall Street Journal in 2008.

Palin is a fan of low-carb eating, especially moose stew, a local delicacy.

Her love of the outdoors was captured on the TLC show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” which attempted to show the world what the former vice presidential candidate was like at home.

The show was canceled after one season.
