It was only a matter of time before labour leaders fought over the election result.

Some of the contestants in the presidential election of the Nigeria Labour Congress have protested againt the emergence of Ayba Wabba, the President of the Medical and Health Workers Union, MHWUN and immediate past Treasurer of the NLC.

The election was held in the wee hours of Saturday, March 14 at the Eagle Square, in Abuja.

The disgruntled leaders are presently in a crucial meeting to determine the next line of actions.

It is believed that the leaders may decide to withhold allegiance to NLC until their grievances are addressed.
