Read what ex-militant, Tompolo is saying about Buhari’s victory…

A former Niger-Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, believes that God approved the election of Muhammadu Buhari.

During the election campaign period, Tompolo and several other ex-militants, had threatened fire and brimstone if President Jonathan were to lose the election.

And lose he did. But alas, neither fire nor brimstone have been let loose… except Mujahid Asari-Dokubo who has been saying some worrying things.

Asari-Dokubo, who like ToReads a staunch supporter of Jonathan, had on Wednesday, April 1, threatened that he and his group may be forced to return to militancy.

Tompolo is however, of a different mindset as he’s advocated for peace in a statement released through his spokesperson, Paul Bebenimibo, on Thursday, April 2.

He said: “I believe that nothing can happen if God does not approve of it. I want to appeal to all our people to be orderly, calm and embrace peace. The will of the people is sacrosanct and the existing peace be maintained. Peace is a prerequisite for national development. People should remain calm also during the governorship election.”
