In spite of the reports that the 2016 budget submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari to the National Assembly had gone missing, the Nigerian Senate says legislation on the document will soon commence.
The Senate on Wednesday morning, announced that the 2016 Appropriation Bill will be debated upon by lawmakers, from Tuesday, January 19.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, was quoted to have made the announcement during plenary session.
