Senate wants Goodluck to drag Goodwill to ICC over xenophobic attacks

The Nigerian Senate has implored the Federal Government to drag South Africa’s Zulu King to the International Criminal Court.

Zulu King, Goodwill Zwelithini, is believed to have ignited the recent xenophobic killings in South Africa, through a speech he gave last month, stating that foreigners were encroaching in the country, and as such, they should go back to their nations.

He told the South Africans that foreign immigrants were denying South Africans the jobs the hosts would have been employed for.

On Wednesday, April 22, during the plenary session, the Senate called on the government to sue the Zulu King for his role in the attacks on foreigners.
