He may have overthrown his government after a coup in 1983,- but that didn’t stop former President, Shehu Shagari from visiting President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
On Monday, May 11, Shagari paid a visit to Buhari to congratulate him on his victory at the 2015 presidential election.
Buhari succeeded the democratic government of Shagari in a military coup on December 31, 1983.
