At the start of the year, YNaija predicted 2011 as the year of comebacks and thus far our prediction has been on point. Now, Africa’s First Lady of Hip Hop, who has been working hard towards her forthcoming album, makes her presence felt with a brand new video for her hot single ‘Don’t Stop’. The Storm Records femcee is a veteran in her art and didn’t fail to deliver on this track dabbed with some auto tune. Almost four months after the thumping single premiered on the internet, ‘Don’t Stop’ gets the video treatment from acclaimed cinematographer Bobby Boulders and shot entirely on location in Lagos Nigeria.

‘Don’t Stop’ is a will.i.am-esque dance track produced by beat tailor, Jesse Jaggz. On the instrumental side of things, Jaggz explores futuristic sounds and old school hip hop as synths, snares, turntable scratch effects and robotic vocals are tightly zipped together. With Sasha’s Auto-tuned vocals overlaid nicely, the final product is highly reminiscent of a club-ready Black Eyed Peas song. The video had Sasha fully clad in her signature label ‘Eclectic’ by Sasha. The music video is a smorgasbord of dance moves, bright lights and haute couture that, like the audio, takes cues from The Black Eyed Peas.
