Stephen R. Covey, author of the bestseller, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” has died in Idaho three months after a serious bike accident in Utah.
Reports say the author and motivational speaker died 2:15am on Monday due to complications from the accident. He was 79.
Covey also wrote three other books which have sold more than a million copies each, he co-founded an Utah based professional services company Franklin Covey.
“In his final hours, he was surrounded by his loving wife and each one of his children and their spouses, just as he always wanted,” the family said.
According to RexburgStandardJournal, the accident which caused his death happened on April 19 in Provo, Utah.
