Terrible: This woman shot her sister in the head after Facebook argument (MUGSHOT)

Arica Woodruff was said to be in surgery as of late Wednesday night.

Police in Kentucky say Arica Woodruff, (pictured above) was downgraded to stable condition Thursday after being shot in the forehead by her half-sister Wednesday afternoon.

An argument on Facebook over who’s a worst mother motivated one sister to shoot the other in the head, according to authorities in Kentucky.

Ankara Alvarado’s post bearing the message “you know where I’m at” appeared as one of her last before greeting her half-sister outside her Dover home with a .22-caliber pistol, said the Mason County sheriff’s department.

Authorities say Alvarado, 28, shot Arica Woodruff in the forehead before the victim was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in critical condition Wednesday.

Since undergoing surgery the 24-year-old has been downgraded to stable condition, Sheriff Patrick Boggs told the Daily News Thursday.

Two witnesses outside Alvarado’s camper – where she lives with her boyfriend who is said to be the owner of the gun – were questioned in the attack along with the possible motive.

From what Boggs says he knows so far, the motive appears to be entirely from a Facebook argument.

“Just one calling the other a bad mother,” he said. “They were going to settle it face-to-face.”

A view of Alvarado’s now-closed Facebook page approximately 13 hours earlier by Cincinnati station WCPO shows what police have confirmed to be an argument leading up to the violence.

Ankara Alvarado, 28, was arrested for attempted murder after greeting Woodruff outside her home with a .22-caliber pistol which she used to shoot her half-sister in the forehead, according to police.

“This is for all who have a problem with me,” Alvarado allegedly wrote in one final post. “I’m not running from anyone you all know where I’m at.”

A neighbor who heard the gunshot from his home expressed his frustrations to 18News.

“That’s what’s wrong with this world right now is Facebook. Everybody knows your business on there. You put anything on Facebook everybody knows it,” said Rodney Woodruff.

A woman describing herself as Woodruff’s sister lamented the shooting on her own Facebook wall while describing the victim as a mother to a “beautiful” little girl.

A photo posted to Woodruff’s account in January 2012 shows her cradling a newborn she calls Abry.

Alvarado remains jailed on a $50,000 bond after her arrest on suspicion of attempted murder.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
