[The Activism Blog] NGO calls for information on man brutalised by Naval Officer

Following the wide condemnation of a viral video showing the brutality meted out to an unknown Nigerian by a Naval rating for wearing a camouflage cap, a Non-Governmental Organisation, Joint Legal Action Aids (JLAA) has said it will seek justice for the yet to be identified man.

In a phone chat with Punch Newspapers, on Sunday, October 15, 2017, the General Counsel of the NGO, Kingsley Ughe said, “JLAA hereby condemns the actions of the Naval Ratings in the trending video. This is one brutality too many. And JLAA will not sit down and like many others, do nothing.

JLAA intends to defend and assert the right of the victims of this despicable attack in a court of law.”
